Profile of Ramesh Rao
Facilitator holds a Degree in Engineering and in Finance, an MBA in Supply Chain & Finance. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Certified Lean Master, Certified Design Thinking Facilitator and a Certified Supply Chain Practitioner. Facilitator held leadership positions across Asia in Operations & Supply chain responsible for multiple factories across 3 countries. He last held a position as Global Finance controller responsible for USD 500 Million budget across 3 continents. He spearheaded the implementation of Lean & Six Sigma across multiple companies & helped reduce defects, improve quality and efficiency, increase employee & customer satisfaction. This helped companies improve cash flow of USD 130 M & a profit margin of 3% YoY. Currently the facilitator runs a business consultancy specializing in Company turnarounds and profitability. The facilitator has conducted & facilitated more than 300 worldwide events of training, coaching & implementation of lean six sigma at various levels (yellow belt, green belt, black belt, master black belt, kaizen events) across multiple industries with successful outcome.
